Is this too high? All carbs are adjusted to this point.

Thats what I figured, someone said it should be at where the washer is, but I did use a micrometer and measured 3mm from the bottom of the float bowl.

All of your float levels should be the same. Once you have that you can bench sync.

Sorry, you did use fuel. I didn't go back to the previous page.

As long as you verified all 4 with fuel, not matched them all dry and only verified one, then you're good there.

Tip for bench sync: I like 3/16" wide strips cut vertically from a smooth-sided 12-20oz plastic beverage bottle (soda, water, etc.) They have a "curve" to them that mimics the carb throat bore.

Set all your mixture screws at 2-1/2 to 3 turns out.

Check your intake manifolds for cracks that go all the way through by flexing them from inside with a finger, you'll be able to tell.

Be sure the carbs are attached to the manifolds corrrectly, it's really easy to fold/pinch IN a lip on the #2 or #3 because they're hard to see.

Vacuum plugs only need to be removed to attach your manometer of choice.

Carbs need to be connected to airbox when performing vacuum sync; YICS blocked if applicable.

OF COURSE BY THEN YOU WILL HAVE ALREADY CHECKED YOUR VALVE CLEARANCES, since trying to sync if you have a tight valve is an exercise in frustration...

And for Pete's sake put the bike ALL the way back together before you try to start it!
