Does anyone know if a 1985 fz750 carbs will run correctly on a 1985 Yamaha xj750 maximum x. I'm currently looking for a Complete set for my build. I am having a really hard time finding the correct mikuni carburetors. If anyone knows where I can get a set or if another bike has carbs that'll work correctly please let me know. Thanks

The Maxim-X has custom short body Mikuni carbs to fit above the water pump.
There are no other carbs which will fit.

I have one of the largest (if not the largest bike breaker in Canada) right in my town.

I'd be surprised if he didn't have 3 or 4 banks.
What is wrong with yours that they can't be rebuilt?
