I should ride in the rain too to clean my bike. Only crappy part would be not having a fender to keep the water off my back

Aaaaand we're back to that topic....

There is a self service wash somewhere in the area where I will be staying. I'll just stop there and hose it down. It's only the wheels anyway. Rest looks good.

Let's say that today is already over... Thus only 3 Days till CNYCC#12.

The new XJ T-Shirt will make its debut as well... It's a variation of the XJ engine shirt I did the last time. I had a screen printer do it this time. Best to leave some things to the professionals. Chest pocket text and large graphic on the back...

Price? I need to make sure I'm prepared! It's going to be a very tight trip for me to begin with lol.

It doesn't have to be tight... You just need a larger shirt.

I'm thinking $25 at the clinic. Again, I did not print the shirts myself like I did last time... The print run was small so the 'per unit' price for me was not great, it's also a premium shirt with a discharge/overprint single lt gray ink... printed in two locations (chest and back). When we return from the clinic, if there's interest, I'll sell the remainder off, but I'll need to charge more to cover the postage and mailer.

I have one or two of the last design as well... Not exactly sure what sizes... I'll bring them if anyone is interested...

Bike is on the tender, oil filter packed, some USB charging stuff ordered and helmet cleaned.
All set to go. Weather looks good and I am currently planning to ride. Will make final decision Friday morning after looking at weather again.
Even decided on the route, with as little highway as possible.

Only thing I haven't done due to no time was to get padded/armored bike pants, but I plan to stop at cycle gear on way and get something there.

Weather for the Carb Clinic local area... If we stay on course, this just could rival last year's weather... And I didn't think that was possible.

    Just sayin'

Taking the Friday (carb clinic eve) to enjoy the ride is a great idea. I'll be about 16 hours behind you... Should be there first thing Saturday morning.

    OK,

    Let me jump in here..........

Still deciding which bike to bring 'cause I haven't sold the 700X yet, and the 750x is almost ready:

Need to install the new F-16 screen, headlight, petcock, gas cap, and sender. Also need to fabricate rear braces for the front fender. Would like to do a shake down run too, before putting it on the trailer tomorrow night.

Have a U-haul set up for the trip and seems like the weather will be awesome.

I don't like the color brown but have to admit that the bike looks really good in that color.

Just have to do another hour of work this morning, take kids to school and I should be out of here at around 9am.

Crampbuster and phone USB charger, that connects to my battery tender setup, are installed.
