Hey guys. So I picked up a parts bike 85 max X, got it running did valves motor sounds great starts good and what not.
But the compression is 120 on all 4, and jumps up to 130 to 135 with a drop of oil. Is this ok?
Motor has 44k on it, the valve buckets looked scratched. They don't look as nice like my 86.
Can I put my other buckets that are in better condition in it ?

That is good numbers , gauges can vary . If engine has been sitting for awhile , after you run it for awhile compression may go up slightly.

Are any of the bucket ‘sticky’? If not, leave them be. Check your cams for any burrs, though, Compression is kind of lower, but they’re consistent. I wouldn’t worry about that right now,
