I have a 82 Xj650r, and I’m on the hunt for a replacement kit for all the external screws on the carbs. So far, no luck whatsoever. Mainly needing the diaphragm cover screws to be replaced.
    Any ideas?

    Here:
    http://xj4ever.com/catalog/c-hitachi.html
search for Hitachi Carb Hat Fasteners
Note that some of the screws (4 of them I think) are longer cause you are holding a bracket down to the top hat
    xj4ever will ship pretty quick.

Good of you to replace this stuff if someone ever used a generic phillips instead of the Japanese style.

This place is more expensive but has pics. Hopefully, you are taking LOTS of pics before dissassembly.

I’ve taken plenty of pictures, and separated all the screws into ziploc bags. Just waiting for the jet kit to get here. Thanks for the help!
