    Anyone know of a company that does emblem restoration. I just checked and Bike Bandit wants 63.00 for a front fork emblem. I think it would be called vacuum plateing.

    Nice Wiz. I just repainted mine. The chrome plating flakes off pretty easy.

    I'll (sorta) second Wiz's method -- best luck I've had is with gold or silver leaf gilding -- put it on right, burnish it right, with a good clearcoat over and you'll almost never know it isn't chrome or gold plating.
