Entire '82 XJ650RJ SECA ASK FOR PARTS

I bought the bike for $100 and thought about fixing it up, but it was a little too much for me to handle. I'm in Massachusetts if someone wants to pick up the bike as a whole or you can ask for parts. I have the entire bike with part is various conditions, bike is non-running and motor is seized for unknown reason. A lot of parts are solid and some are rough. Post what part you'd like me to pull and PM me an offer and well work something out.

I can supply pictures or video on demand.

 

hi - what is the condition of the handlebars? i might be interested in them. pictures would be helpful. trying to resurrect one myself. thanks.

 

Largely okay but some large rust patches at the risers, unsure how deep but may need replating or a sand and paint job. Will see what I can do for pictures soon.

 

Interested in the carbs, and the rubber intake manifold between carb and engine. Any available high-res pics would be appreciated.

Too all who contacted me, I'm sorry I went inactive and left a lot of you hanging life got in the way in the form of too many work hours and a large set of winter storms and some damages to my garage. I still have the bike in full and am going to be stripping it over time and stripping it at the requests of buyers. Feel free to message me again and I'll be checking inbox daily and will try and get a within a week turn around on any parts requested.

I DO have the stock airbox in largely perfect condition, it has one crack in it that can be sealed relatively easy with some glue. I also have a DENT free tank with working petcock, the paint will need to be stripped or I'll end up stripping it myself and selling it for a bit more. No keys but has cap.

I have the complete rack of carbs but they have been semi disassembled and I'll deem them as virtually unusable except as parts. Diaphragms/floats are all there and hole free but 20 years of black gooey gas and rust has eaten at the throttle slide and the rod that moves it. Choke pin is broken. I have the floatbowls though, and managed to clean the idle jets of 3 of them.

Pulled the light bucket, both calipers, all of the fairings, panels/seat, and the starter motor off the bike today. started going through the lights and signals, all seem to work fine but the left rear.

 

Hello do you still have have exhaust headers ? and are they in good shapePics?
