Hello all i am back on the forum after selling my seca750 many years ago. happened upon a xj650 maxim 81 that needed to be saved. Its all back up and running, but it needs a voice. I see that marving sells mufflers for the xj650 seca i think they have the same exhaust setup ? it looks almost identical. wanted to check with the experts before going through the hassle of importing

I doubt those will fit, the 650 Maxim muffler cans are:

    a) straight
    b) really, really long......the muffler goes all the way up to the exhaust header pipes, since they don't have a traditional collector box (which Seca models---which is what is shown in the images) have a collector.
    c) you might be able to cut off a section of pipe and "extend" these mufflers so that they can be joined to the forward pipe section of a stock 650 maxim exhaust, but that would be a lot of work, and then "kink" (bend) in these mufflers will cause some fitment issues, too.
