Hello everybody and thanks for the great site. I've been trolling here for awhile now and have picked up all kinds of useful information. Until now I've never felt the need to post anything, but as I need some help now I thought I'd go ahead and create an account.

About me: I live in Switzerland, drive a 1993 XJ Diversion (aka Seca) 4DG, the Alpine Diva. I am originally from the US, so my native language is English, though the parts that I need are all in German. I'm a little bit screwed up between all the languages and learning how to work on my bike.

Does anyone know of a good online glossary (ideally with pics!) for part names and tools?

    Thanks again for the hints.

Tag! Yamaha's US site has the parts breakdown with nomenclature so I'd look there first. As for tools, I'd recommend the OEM factory manual coupled with the Haynes manual. Welcome aboard!
