    Hello,

Just joined. Reading up on info to keep my SJ750 Seca up and
running. So far I've found a ton of info here! With all the carb
problems I'm reading about it's a wonder these bikes ever run
    at all :)

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure many of our members will happily tell you of their adventures on their XJ's. The carburetors are fine really, they just get mucked up something fierce when ignored or abused. Quite sound they are. Hope we've not scared you off with the horror stories, they all end fairly happily.

yea them carbs are always causing problems, with thier constant backpressure requirements. But that's japan in the 80's for you. maybe you can share some pics with us too. That's always fun. It's good to know that there's a high chance somebody here has had the same problem as you and knows what to do.
