Does anyone know what size bolt is needed for the cinch bolt on the rear foot pedal of an 1982 XJ650 Maxim. Broke mine off the other day and the original is too damaged for identification.

I know XJ4ever has some OEM replacmeents, but hoping there would be something to pick up local that should work.

HCP7555 OEM rear brake pedal CINCH BOLT, bright plated. Use 1 per pedal on all XJ550, all XJ650, all 1986 XJ700 non-X, all XJ700-X, all XJ750-X, all XJ750 Seca, and all XJ1100 models to secure the foot pedal to the splined pivot shaft assembly. Also used on all XJ750 Maxim and Midnight Maxim models at the clevis-to-shaft joint.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks Polock. Chacal helped me out as well:

    "The HCP7555 cinch bolt:
    M6 x 28mm x 1.00 thread-pitch
    10mm hex head
shaft is unthreaded for the the first 18mm length under the head"
