I'm getting close to starting the 82 750 Seca for the first time.

I have the carbs thoroughly cleaned . This week, I took the tank to work, to use the shop, and cleaned the tank with the muriatic acid method (boy does that work great). I checked the operation of the petcock - the vacuum diaphragm is intact and the seat/valve are clean. I have a fuel filter to install inline when the tank goes back on.

I have been reading up on bench syncing to adjust the butterflies before putting the rack back on the bike and have just discovered the idle adjustment rod and it's bracket were removed by the PO.

I'm going to have to fabricate something or purchase one if someone has an extra rod/bracket. If anyone has their rack on the bench and could post a clear picture of the rod, bracket and how it attaches to the carb, I would be forever in debt to that person.

I have experience in brazing (I chop up old ten speed bicycle frames to build recumbent bikes as another hobby) and it shouldn't be too difficult to make a bracket and adjustment screw that pushes on the carb 3 linkage arm.
