Does anyone know where I can get a 2 into 1 intake manifold for my 82 xj750 so instead of 4 carbs I'll only have 2

You would have to build one. I think it would have to be like the coils and feed 1 and 4 then 2 and 3

    firing order 1-2-4-3-

cylinder 1 is on intake stroke when 4 is on its power stroke

There are several threads with custom intake manifolds. The easiest way to find them is with a Google search using the command site:xjbikes.com after your keywords.
Most of the threads are older. One word of advice; avoid PVC and CPVC, except for mocking things up.

When I had my virago and was on the virago forum sever tried to make single carb conversions ,most failed one guy made one out of PVC it looked really good as he wrapped it with kevlar , eventually heat melted it , another made one out of aluminum tubing but was icing up and has uneven temp could have been the thin was tubing the problem. On this forum a few have made single carb setup but it was alot of work . If your intake boots are in good shape, you have fully cleaned carbs, stock airbox and synched carbs then you will have a reliable running bike.
