Hello, new to the group, Is there anyone out there that owns an 83 Seca 900 that would be willing to plug mine into their bike to verify what I think is the issue with mine? I have swapped the pickup terminals as well as the coil terminals and my no spark issue on 2-3 moves to 1-4 when swapping the gray and orange wires going to the coils. That seems like a pretty damning test but I hate to spend the 100 plus without one more concrete test like plugging it into a running bike. Thanks for any insight!!

Yes I would but... Wrong country. You are on the right track though. If you have a... Dare I say, frequency meter or cro you could test the pickups to make sure it's not before the tci but great odds that you've derived the issue as the tci.
900 tci 31a/58l can be replaced with the other 650/750 4h7/5g2 tcis, although timing curve is different and the wiring into it is also different, just to make it interesting.

    Not much help sorry.
