Look what the dealership did!

    Got the bike from the dealer today and this is what they did. 20170326_110229.jpg They said all the cool kids are doing this and they will not put it back.

    ....did you tell them that YOU ARE NOT COMING BACK because THAT is what all the COOL XJ OWNERS who DO know how the pedal is SUPPOSED to be are doing.....? .........NOT going back to dealerships that refuse to correct STUPID stuff?

    Would that be the same 'cool' (read 'stupid') kids who are doing wheelies down the middle of the road, too?

    WHAT Cool kids?........what a STUPID thing to do.......and a shop that would even consider setting things up like this and use that kind of reasoning to justify it?!?!?! Holy Crap!!!! Maybe they should just take the handlebars off because' all the cool kids......"look Ma, no hands".......(crash------look Ma, no teeth------DER!!!!)"

    How about not paying them.......all the cool kids don't have money.........

    How about telling us the name of the dealership so we know who to avaoid?

    How about letting them know that you told us, too?!?!?

    Are they thinking you're gonna use the foot-brake with your knee instead?????

    Oh wait a second---maybe they meant the missing fastener for the muffler mount (so they took one from the foot peg mount)...my bad, sorry..........

    DOH!--- I think we had started a forum awhile back on stupid PO things-----maybe we need to start one on Stupid Dealership/Shop 'Repairs'

    I recommend you go back in and give them Royal H$!! Until they put it back CORRECTLY. OF course, you could go have an' accident' and then go after them for a lot more.........or at least tell them that might happen.........the manager might get the hint----or the owner........

    i can't seem to wrap my head around how that could even work. is the pedal behind your calf ? and isn't the pedal and shaft keyed so it only goes on one way, like with missing splines somehow? cool guys loosen all the bottle lids on the shelf :)
