First let me start by saying I have an 83 XJ 750 Maxim. I am in the process of replacing/rebuilding my calipers, master cylinder, brake pads and brake lines. While my wheel was off I took it to my local shop to see if the rotors were true.

Unfortunately when I am going to put everything back together I realize I must have left the front wheel spacer at the shop. (I am going down there Monday to see if they have it). In the mean time, I decided to check how much a new one would be through Chacal. What I think I am missing is called a collar "this is the approximately 1" long tube that is fitted on the right side of the wheel hub." however I saw this other part called a spacer tube described as "This is the approximately 6" long tube that is fitted through the length of the wheel hub." What concerns me is during dis-assembly I have never seen a 6" long tube. Can anyone explain in further detail what I am missing and what this spacer tube is.

The 6" tube is 'inside' the wheel and sits between the wheel bearings. If you have not removed the bearings, it should still be there.
