[IMG] [IMG] This is my 1981 650 Maxim I’ve rebuilt since 2023. I bought it in a storage unit for 300 bucks, motor was blown, really just a piece of junk especially since it was just a frame on wheels with a motor. I did mostly everything custom: new seat, welded new frame and new rear fender and wiring. It’s not perfect, but I’m proud of it. It’s really fun to rip around.

Thanks for saving another one from the crusher. My tastes run closer to stock but that is just me. As long as you are having fun with it you did well. It looks well saved.

Yea when I found it it was just close to nothing. I have lots of run riding it around it’s a good bike. Funny enough my good friend few hours from me also has an 82’ Maxim 650 that is stock. Good looking bikes.
