My XJ550 had an RD125 LC caliper installed, leave it or swap?

    Hi guys,

    My XJ550 I am rebuilding is the single caliper/rotor version...
    Just worked out during rebuilding the caliper, that this bike had been fitted somewhere along the line with a caliper that suits the RD125LC and other models.
    I have an old XJ550 caliper on hand that would need rebuilding as well...

    My question, is there much difference in performance between this and the original?
    Would there be anything gained from swapping to the XJ caliper or just leave the one that was on it??
