So about a week ago my bike wouldn't start so I ended up deduceing that my carbs were suspect and so I tore down my carbs cleaned them up real good put them back together and started it and it fired right up so I thought I'd take it for a ride I go about a mile or 2 up the road and my bike starts sputturering like it is running out of gas (I had just filled it up so it had plenty of gas) and ends up dying and I try to restart but to no avail I end up trying to start it to the point where it kills my battery, so 2 hours later the bike is towed back to my house where I start trying to see what's wrong I tested my battery once I charged it and it was testing good, I was able to start the bike up but only was able to get it running for about 20 minutes before It started dropping rpms till it died in that time I tested the spark, good, and seeing if the battery was charging which it was, I went to see if maybe I had a clogged fuel line but after my bike dying I immediately went to drain the bowls and sure enough all 4 of them were full of gas. I really don't know what's wrong with it and would like some advice from so more experienced people, thanks for anything and have a great day

clean the vent in the gas cap, or open the cap next time it starts sputtering. do you have a fuel filter check it for air bubble.
    Your Gas Cap and You

check your vacuum line to petcock or just change it

ohm out entire ignition system pickups could be failing when hot. spark plug caps could be failing when hot.

still have the glass fuses change your ignition fuse.

I did try opening the gas cap and did not have any affect on it dying I'll be sure to check ignition fuse and the vacuum lime for my petcock as I don't think I have a fuel filter but I will post updates

If it is dying once it is warmed up it could be the valve clearences.

Could also be the enrichment circuit if it has been left open.
