Having searched fruitlessly for oversize pistons for my rather worn XJ900 engines I ended up having to commission some.

As I had to place a minimum order it means I have a few sets of newly manufactured oversize pistons for the 891cc XJ900F models from 1984 on as surplus.

The sets of 4 pistons come complete with rings, wrist pins and circlips and are .50mm oversize at 69mm, so perfectly suited to those with high mileage engines on original standard pistons who may be starting to experience smoky exhausts and lower than normal compression.

Each set costs £250GBP, plus post/shipping.

I’ll post this on the for sale forum as well.

Not that I have a 900 but who did you have make them ? that's a pretty good price compared to most piston sets I've seen

I had them supplied by a company here in the UK.

Yes it’s a keen price. I had to order a minimum of 8 sets, I’m using two of them. I’ve priced them to sell as I really don’t want to end up with 6 sets of pistons! The price I’ve set them at should allow me to recoup most of my initial outlay, and I’m not greedy!

They are good quality pistons. I’m happy to use them in my engines.
