I got sick of trying to balance a funnel in the oil fil hole and having it fall out and spill.

This is a three piece print:
    1. The base piece that is threaded and screws into the oil fill hole.
    2. The tube piece that levels the top and extends the funnel away from the bike a little bit.
    3. The top funnel part.

It looks a little Dr. Seuss-ish, but it works.

I'm not sure what the filler cap threads are on the XJ550/XJ1100/XS1100 motors, but if it is the same M27-1.5 thread it would work for those too.

Three STL files included in attached ZIP file.

Does the oil degrade the printed plastic? Should these be clear coated before use?

A clear coat probably couldn't hurt, but I think it probably depends on what material you use and how you use it.

I have a small funnel that I've used for a few years printed in PLA and it's fine. I use it a handful of times per year and it's still just fine, even though PLA isn't known for being all that great with solvents. I'm sure if I was using it all day every day it would probably degrade a lot faster.

Personally, if I was concerned about resistance to solvents, I would print it with PETG. And of course a good coating couldn't hurt if you were worried about it.

Another hopefully obvious thing to keep in mind is that if you use it in a smoking hot engine you could melt the plastic and that could be a bad time.
