Yup. Both 32mm Hitachis. Everything will interchange.

No such thing as a 1980 750 Seca. The bike is an '81 model year (the year they were introduced) but it very well could have been built in 1980. My '81 was.

Mechanically, the '81 ~ '83 750 Secas are virtually identical. (As long as we're talking USA-market bikes.)

Thats what i thought also . My first seca was an 81. this seca i just bought is stamped 6 of 81 but title says 82r RJ. The listing for carbs on ebay called it a 1980 set .I had fuel in oil again over weekend , and have ordered petcock rebuild kit . also 4 carb rebuild kits and a set of 4 carbs from ebay as parts . need to figure out why i keep getting fuel in the oil . i moved petcock to reserve last week and shortly after had fuel in oil again . getting frustrated . Going to start by rebuilding petcock and go from there the last owner was in the carbs but not sure what he did and he kept mentioning check center floats . and like i told you in pm the tank was empty when i showed up to buy it ?? may have a sinking float which is why i bought a set of parts carbs ?

I was going to say, no such thing as an '80 750 seca.

On the neck tag it may say xx/80 but that was just the manufacture date, not the model year.

check the vin to figure out model year.

but as fitz and others have said, mechanically 81-83 750 secas are mechanically the same, and most parts will all exchange.

Additionally, the 650 carbs should be the same as well, minus jetting (and needle valve?).
