A Yamaha parts fiche is a good reference for putting a bike back to stock: http://www.yamahapartshouse.com/oempart ... ycle/parts

If you want to get seriously detailed about it, track down a Dealer Assembly manual for your specific bike. They pop up on eBay from time to time and are a great reference for fasteners and things that aren't covered in the service manual.

Your colors for '82 were "Star Red" and "Black Blue."

The stock handlebar was a "buckhorn" style in a rather uncomfortable bend. That's why a LOT of them got changed. You could go with something less radical though. If you do it right (shorter clutch cable and upper brake line) you can have it look as though it came from the factory with lower bars.

The wheels were originally painted black and the rims and spoke highlights "polished" (more like machined shiny.)

When most of us refer to putting everything back to stock, we're generally referring to the engine, airbox, pipes, etc. A little "personalization" isn't uncommon. Some guys just personalize more than others is all. My two 550 Secas are both essentially stock; but one much moreso than the other if you look closely. Although in my case, both are in their original color schemes. When I get my 650 Seca done, it too will be "stock" except it won't be wearing an original color scheme.

Star red That will help on my part but why only 2 colors offers. And yea. Then them Buck bars I have seen and they look worse then my lay down cafe racer bars.

But y wasn't chrome really used on them like they r now? Or was this bikes more a2b travel rather then flash
