    Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with using parts from a 1982 XJ 650, and fitting them onto a 1981 XS 650 ?

Neither bike is in the garage just yet, but will be soon. Looking to improve the XS over the XJ at the moment.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

What are you looking to swap? One bike is a twin cyl chain drive, the other is a 4 cyl shaft drive, nothing swapping there. Might be able to swap forks, instruments, but that's about it.

Thanks. I know that final drive, and engine, exhaust are completely different. Forks, front wheel, brakes, electrical components, handle bars.
