So, I'm on spring break now and am down at my parents house. I was outside helping my dad with his car, lawnmowers, etc.... getting a bunch of things running. While we were working, a car pulls down the driveway and a lady gets out. she comes over and says................................

"I found the title for the Suzuki you picked up from my husband last fall".

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I can DO something with it!!!

That made my day. Now I am officially the second owner. :)

Thats a good thing. I put mine out in one of my sheds for the summer. I bought a used motor for it . It needs the most work so its last on the list plus i needed the space my rd will be here thurs. And last week i ran into i heck of a deal I bought a 81 hondamatic so my brother and uncle have something to ride. They are not getting on the rd or maxim. Bike only has 9600 miles not bad looking bike former owner passed away and it has not been on the road since 04. Heck for $300 bucks couldn't go wrong.

Its funny you said that now you can do something with it. I had given up on mine then i looked on cl saw someone had an old rebuilt motor for 100 bucks snatched it up. Now the project is back on

In NY the only thing you can do with a bike that doesn't have a title is:

    look at it
    part it out
keep it until either you get the title or get a titled frame to swap.

    Nice finds! Ain't projects fun?!?!?!
