    hi all,
i'm renovating a spare set of carbs, to replace the ones on my xj600. carbs are mikuni, bs32's.
I need to tap out the threads on a couple of the pilot screws, (they are the fine thread ones .)
anyone know the exact size of tap I need. from what I can measure they are 6mm x .5mm pitch,
    does this sound right?
    thanks stu

yep, thanks for that, the link confirms it.
cant find anything on ebay, I think shipping and duty from u.s. would be expensive!.

thanks for that "xj550h", that company appears to be in Germany,
anyway I found an engineering supply company about 30 miles away from me, who had the taps in stock.
2nd taper and plug taps in a set for just over 10 pounds sterling.
got home and tapped all 4 pilot screw holes out , and "Bingo" screws go in and bottom out great.
the company is called Cutwel limited, Cleckheaton near Bradford, for anyone in uk.
    thanks
    stu
