    hey guys,
Just finished rebuilding my hitachi hsc32 cars with new jets/needles.

Currently trying to adjust float height and im getting very frustrated with an issue: i wet adjust float level 1 fine, and brought carb 4 to spec, but floats 2/3 are not responding to tang bending. They remain high no matter how far i push the tang towards carb body. There is very little free play in the floats range of motion as well. Speedy ideas would be appreciated as Id love to get her out by tonight
    Tldr
pushing the tangs significantly farther towards carb body on floats 2/3 than the tangs on floats 1/4 does not drop float levels 2/3.

Have a look at this PDF. It sounds to me like you have your floats in upside down.

The needle/seat is leaking on carbs 2 and 3. Either dirt is stuck in the needle or the sealing o-ring in the seat is bad. Check them before you bend the float anymore and ruin it.
