    The police bikes were parts-bin specials. Depending on what country it was originally sold in it will have either a 650, 750, or 900 frame and wiring harness. IFAIK the 750 was the most common worldwide. There will be some wiring differences for the emergency lights and radios, otherwise the rest will be the same as the civilian bikes.
    The first three digits on the VIN will tell you what the frame is.

    Look at the numbers stamped into the right side of the steering neck, as the shaft-drive engines can be fitted to almost any of the shaft driven frames (and were in the police bikes).

    Wow... I have a xj750p wiring diagram.
    I think it came from the xjcd.
    The only differences are the police bits obviously.
    Digital Speedo, lights and 2way control.
    So...
