**POLL** "All new content " & Mobile Forum View addition??

Who else here does a whole lot if browsing and posting on their phones or other mobile devices?

I do a lot, and was thinking it wouldn't be all that hard to make a condensed down mobile version.

What do others think? Would any else of you use it?

Also - under the "forum" section have an entire page of "new content " the be added as well as keeping the scrolling 10 on the bottom and main pages.

So we could browse a list of ALL recent items. I would love that. Helps people get help faster abd allows people to see all new posts just in case the op puts it in the wrong category.

Others thoughts?

I use my phone on the forums about half the time, it just depends were i am, if im out in my shop working i just mosy on in and use the pc. But i do like to sit downstairs and stare at the TV and use the forums, i like the idea.

I don't have a smart phone........... and I'm still on dial-up, too.

If I'm somewhere where there is an open wireless system, I use my iTouch, and have no problem checking through the xjBikes site with that.

I don't personally need a mobile app version. Safari works fine for me.

Now that IS a plan, would make it so much easier to navigate to what people are looking for instead of for example, people with chopped bikes posting their electronic issues in the modifications forum which doesn't get much attention from most, they could post it under the appropriate sub forum & people who like to get their teeth into the electrics would obviously be "hanging round" that area too. Same for anything else really.

And "please use specific thread titles" reminders at the top of each area couldn't hurt either, but mainly the sub-forum idea gets my vote

 

Neither do I. Mine makes and receives phone calls.

 

Me neither. Cro-magnon cell phone when i'm out, computer at home, that's all.

 

A mobile view, or a Tapatalk module would be great, but I'm not sure that's feasible.

I don't know what exact software package this board runs, but it looks kinda old. Maybe there is a newer version of it?

I had a flip phone for 4 years and never even had texting.

Not since last week though

Gotta admidt it's real nice. I used to use my iPod touch for everything.
