Wanted to provide this quick anecdote. 1983 xj750 midnight maxim with 43,000. Added Marvel Mystery Oil to the gas and oil on a whim after using the product on my lawn tractor. Within 5o miles I noticed a smoother idle, easier and smoother running cold start, and the clutch wasn't quite as stiff. I am not a salesman, have no product affiliation, and am aware everyone's experience may be different. My bike was running fine though a bit rough on cold start prior to adding the product. I am not providing this information as an alternative to proper maintenance (cleaning carbs, changing oil, adjusting valves) but rather for those with a wish their 40+ year old bike ran just a tad smoother. Not normally a fan of liquid tune ups and fixes (bought the product for the old John Deere), but hey.

Nice, have a similar experience. Recently got a XJ 1100 and did an oil change on it.
I run in my cars (Eco diesel Jeep and Ford Taurus SHO) Motorkote as well as Marvel mystery oil in the tank from time to time and thought i would try with the oil change in my XJ, to mention i used same oil i use in my ford Full synthetic SAE 5W-30 ( i know the worry about we clutch and so on).
Well i can only agree with your comment runs much smoother now clear difference!

I have used it in the gas, but never the oil. I was worried about how it might affect the wet clutch.
