Shaft drive interchange??

    Does anyone know if the final drive off a 650 seca is the same as the 750 unit?
    Mine has a bodged filler plug hole, and there is a cheap 650 unit available to me with low miles.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    They appear to be the same on both my 650 and 750. Good bet they should be the same. Checked out BikeBandit and they list the same internal components for final drive bearing and seal. Might want to bounce the parts between the two models ( 81' 650H and 750RH respectively) on the Yamaha site. Better yet, check them out on the XJCD. Good luck.
