looks like it's in good shape and complete I would take it but it depends on what prices are like in your area is $450 a good price there for what your buying or could you do better?

well i did pay $50 for my main xj that i use for work daily about 90 miles and $250 for my other one thats a complete bike and good runner what sort of prices do you pay there for them? as for doing better they seem to be quite scarce here most of the ones ive seen have all been ex police models and were fetching upto 5k

    wow

depending upon the condition , Running , Decent shape ( good paint, very Few Dings. good tires, handling , all parts there , you could fetch between $1,200.00US - $2000.00US as for being police cruisers I don't know how much if any to add to that price tag .

I guess it would also depend on the mileage and if they are HARD miles or soft miles.

I just looked at a 82 650 seca 60000+ km's rough shape (really rough!) he said it was just "TUNED UP" and ran great but its winter so i couldn' really test that theory! I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but this cover needed a lot of work! he wanted $1600 cad and im sure that will go up when the season starts if he still has it

NOOOOOO!!! I think I would probably pull the trigger on that one. Looks to be fairly complete and most people, in my experience, don't have a clue with mechanicals. It may be a simple fix. If not, you have a 'complete' parts bike.

    Go for it.

You can drive for 6 hours in New Zealand ?
So, it's not a "police" version, and it has a dropped chain, if it is near 90,000 KM it needs the timing chain, clutch, head bearings, and of course, carb work. I'd say "pass".
And I'd love to come and visit !!
