Hey guys. Have an 85 maxim 700. Recently my start button will push in but won't spring back into start position. Am I right to assume that button is spring loaded and if so, where is it? Tkx in advance.

    It is spring loaded.

My start button was doing the same thing. I pulled it apart and found that the spring had slipped from its intended position. It was an easy fix.

I’m sure xj4ever has replacement right hand controls if you don’t feel like opening it up.
