Stupid question, right side bracket removal

So I grew up on a farm, helped me Dad maintain tractors, combines, cars, etc. Last fall I did a complete carb rebuild on my xj650-runs awesome!

So why can't I figure out how to removed that last bolt holding the bracket that the rear foot peg is attached to? I'm talking about the right side, the bolt right under the front foot peg-I loosen and loosen but can't get it off! Maybe I inhaled too much carb cleaner....

That bolt is actually a motor mount bolt as well. It goes all the way to the other side. Take a little tension off of it by gently raising the motor and it will come out.

 

I don't think that the engine mount bolts go through the ally bracket, I have found those to be attached with cap head bolts.
