I temporarily rigged up a small nylon insulated bag (about the size of a six-pack) onto the rear of my bike this moring so I could carry a few items to work. Its strap is looped around the rear seat bar and its resting on the tail light. I duct-taped around it and to the seat bar to keep it from sliding to either side. It looks goofy but it served the purpose but.....

What I want is a decent pack about that same size (maybe 12" w x 8" h) for the back that has some straps for mounting in that location more securely. I plan to check out Wally World for something to adapt....Anybody have any other ideas? ~thanks!

Okay, here's my solution. $5 insulated pack from Walmart. Cut the carry strap in the middle and tie it to the seat trim bar.

What do you guys think? (Don't laugh) hey, it works.

I have a friend that simply strapped a milk crate to the back.

Not very COOL looking 8) but effective just the same.

If you really want to mount a tail-trunk there, you've got to get yourself a luggage rack first -- hunt around Ebay - that's your best bet.
There's one there right now actually!

Without it, my best suggestion would be a tail pack like this:
