    I found the wrong tank...Been searching for a non-rusted gas tank for my '81 xj550 Maxim...an eternal project...

    Recently a friend of mine who is a VW Rabbit enthusiast happened upon a woman clearing out a relative's garage and spied this tank from a Yamaha bike, figured I might be able to retrofit onto my frame...

    Anyone have a resource to ID this model/year? i've perused a lot of bike tanks and they're all looking alike to me at this point.
