timing question

    So, putting my bike back back together from a top end rebuild and some other stuff. Just did one final check on the valve shims and i noticed something.

    My intake cam is slightly out of time. Like it still lines up with the dot, but not perfectly.... It's like at 12:01 instead of 12:00...

    Should i re-time it? There is no ininterference, and it spins by hand smoothly. I have not fired it yet...

    Leave it, if you move it one tooth it will be miles out. Put it down to fluctuations.

    Yeah my exhaust is lined right up but my intake is about half a dot off. Runs fine.
