"Top end only" rebuild question: clean out bottom end?

    I decided to do a top end rebuild on my 550 Seca, and there's 40,000 miles on her. While I was tapping the cylinder jug off, some of that gasket debris and rust from the studs got down into the bottom end (before I could get rags shoved in under the pistons.

    I'm only doing top end and am not splitting the case, so what's a good process for getting it cleaned out sufficiently? I plan on doing an oil and filter change within the first 50 miles.
