I haven't posted an update in a while! Getting everything ready for electrical. Still lots to do, but I'm excited for how it will turn out. Hope to be done around July, but who knows. We have done a lot to this bike so far: second oversize pistons, frame fab/powder coat, new tires, so many custom brackets, more modern aftermarket parts (guage, lights, hand controls, etc...), custom seat base, and so much more. I am thinking about having an aluminum tank made, so I may be selling the two Seca tanks that I have. Dunno yet, but I will do another update when I have actually gotten somewhere!

Looks great! Keep up the good work.

might want to point out that you bought this bike already chopped. There’s a lot of US based members that absolutely cringe when they see a Seca 650 cut up, me included but I remember your history.

Wait a minute. Seca 650? As in Turbo Seca? I don't even recognize that bike. Looks cool.

looks awesome. especially with the chopped rear frame. Bring the bike out of the 80's and into the future.

Thank you! It was already chopped when I got it, so I figured I should just keep going in that direction. I wanted to do the cliche cafe racer type thing, but I decided it would look better as a dirt/street bike. I'm sure there's another word for it, but adventure bike is the best name I could think of. It has been in project mode for a long time though. I'll be happy when it's over

what happened to that gas tank?
I sure hope it wasn't anything to do with my packing and shipping.

Your shipping was perfect buddy. It's not dented either. Just a bad shadow. Also, I changed my mind on the custom tank. I'll be taking it to a radiator ship to make sure the coat is good and repainting. It's not worth my time to get a custom tank when I've got a great one already!
