Im in the process of eliminating all the switches from the handlebars on my XJ650. Im going to be building a special plate that will hold the switches along with my mini speedo. to start the bike I need a momentary switch correct? I found a Momentary On-OFF switch. I eliminated the turns so the only other switch I need is for the Hi-Lo beam. Which would be a On-On switch.

So if Im correct are these the right switches?

    To start the bike,

Toggle Switch - 20 Amp Sealed Screw Terminal SPST MOM-OFF

To switch high to low beams,

Toggle Switch - 20 Amp Sealed Screw Terminal SPDT ON-ON

I would use an Off-On-On to be able to kill the lights when starting and if ever needed.
Look here at this diagram I modified to simplify everything!

the switch would go on the G line to the Headlight. I am not running a HI/LO light so I modified it

You need a Momentary "ON" for the start switch, and a SPDT (ON-ON NOT ON-OFF-ON) for the hibeams like you said. The start switch doesn't have to be high current, the headlight switch can be 20A but that's overkill, 10A would be fine with stock lights.

dude, autozone and advance auto, pep boys, etc. all have 'em on the shelf as well as a kick-a$$ 6 ATC fuse block for far less $$$... And the fuse block has a single power in!!! Simple to hookup and less wires too!
