Did yours give up the ghost? Or are you fighting with a flaky display?

It's been dead from day one. It does nothing at all... No lights, no LCD...

I followed the diagnostic procedure from Yamaha so it must be bad.

I've got one but I'm curious as to why yours is not working. I'll assume you have gone through to make sure you are getting all the right voltages at the right places. Have you opened up the box to see if it is fried yet? No LCD could be as simple as a bad LCD. I'm willing to test your unit(s) if you care to send them out. Might save you a few bucks if it is something simple as a broken solder joint or wire. That goes for you too Lt. P.M. if interested. Meanwhile, I'll dig into my instrument cluster box and see what all I have.

I HAVE SET OF GAUGES THE LCD WORKS FINe but the odometer is flaky
and the tach is jumpy. speedo works. If you clean up and oil the gauges they might work good I bought a new set on ebay.
ill sell for 50 plus ship

^^^Sounds like a good donor to work with SecaRob. You could clean up the shaft pivots, that should take care of the tach. The odometer is another matter but if your odometer head works, swap it out.
