XJ 750 squealing

    Hello,
    I have an xj750 and recently I took it back out for the first time in a couple months (I broke my arm). And it has developed the squeal only when moving whether the clutch is engaged or not.
    It sounds like it's coming from the front end, but I can't be sure. Any suggestions what to do or where to start?

    disconnect the cable pull iner cable out and lube it up if you also disconnect the bottom cable you can spray lube down the outer cable.

    or just put a baggie with the corner cut out nad taped to the cable put your lube in the bag and let gravity do it thing

    Thank you. That completely stopped the sound.
    Only problem is the needle started to bounce and now it's broken off. How do I replace that? And stop the bouncing?

    if part of needle is still there glue a tooth pick to it and paint it red.
    you need to clean and lube speedo.
