Xj1100 coils

    Can i boost coil output on a 82 1100j?..3-5 ohms 2 fire?...What would it affect? I've done Boyer etc and im still lookin thru how to tag this one...Why is the fuse box so useless?...Wiring on releys scrambled?

    After 30 years, ...
    The thing to do is Upgrade your Ignition.
    Install "Performance" aftermarket Coil.

    Dyna Brand or Accel Motorcycle Coils.
    The Dyna Coils have an optional Installation Kit that makes it very easy to mount the Coils in the limited space.

    Some fabrication is required to mount Accel Brand.

    Either Brand will give you a much needed Ignition upgrade and add reliability to the Ignition system

    Yea..the Dnya..Ds1 i think..has the secondry pickup with a adjustable 3 degree for timing..but im not hip on yammies..Rotor-springs eazy to replace?Spark ingniter? Jump and install capasitors?..Carbon wires on plugs to fool with the ohms?? Boost on air filter out of paper?...had a ol Kzr-tc that i did it to and ran like crap till i foamed the cleaner...I'm just worried if i should invest in a D and ..with all the electrics and stuff if i have to "box" it..run new blade fuses,curcit it etc...never tried with glass fuses on a newer scoot
