Hey XJ people

just a heads up on some good stuff I got from Len at XJ4ever--I inherited my nephews '82 Seca 550 that he left next to an open garage window for seven years and rehabbed it over the last few months. The guys at XJ4ever hooked me up with all the small stuff that's hard to find, including side cover grommets that actually fit! I went with a pair of fork boots to butch it up a little, and replaced the 35 year old rubber brake hose with stainless, which makes a huge difference in power and feel. The upper half had to be custom because I'm running some flatter drag bars on it. Len was willing to do a back-and-forth mail exchange to try out blanks to get the right fit. A lot of work and a lot of emails. I ended up fabbing up the old one as a model and sending it in (which worked fine). The new hose came not long after, and fits great. Loving this old UJM, surprising quick and fun!

xj4ever is the place for your parts. did you get shorter cables too (clutch, throttle)?
