Just wondering for those that ended up going to a rear seat hoop what you ended up doing for the rear fender? There's a lot of holes and a straight cut on the back of the chrome one that comes off the stock bike that looks weird trying to figure out a way to get it back on there somehow (you can see the holes and it just looks out of place). I am pretty sure I will keep the plastic one with some modification or protect the back of the wheel well in some way; however, still want to keep the chrome fender on there somehow. Do you get a completely new rear fender and attach it in or is there a way to use the stock rear fender somehow? Thanks.

boat trailer fender work well then you build or buy a fender mount that welds to swing arm add a few struts to hold fender up.
fender moves with tire and swing arm that way

    tcbros.com sell mounts and struts

    http://www.tcbroschoppers.com/metric-parts/frames-fenders.html

they also sell weld on tabs to mount the fender to frame

Apparently Northland Tool sells trailer fenders for less than $15 bucks, so I think I'm in business. Thanks again.

4 posts up from tcbros.com fender mount kit

angle bracket welbs to swing arm and bolts to fender . the struts connect to swing arm and fender fender moves with swing arm and tire, where the stock setup fender is attached to frame
