It's been 8 years since i purchased my first and only seca, and 8 years since i signed up for this great site. Tonight i will be headed a hour north of my town to get another one. It's been 6 years, and 3 other bikes but i have found one. A 1982 Yamaha Seca 650... and I couldn't be more excited. When I had my old seca you guys were the tools that turned the bolts during my wonderful learning experience. I had to build that Seca from the ground up and get it running right, just to take my road test! I spent a lot of time reading old posts, new posts, and using all the resources that are pooled here to build a bike that was reliable and fun to ride. I'm picking up a Seca that has been in storage for 3 years, doesn't run now and needs a clutch cable. Since I'm only paying $500, i really can't complain, I am pretty excited about this find, and you'll definitely being hearing from me again. Posting pics soon!!!

the only bad thing about getting another bike is, you can't ride your bike to pick up the new one :)

Sure you can. You need a trailer like kmoe has, strap the front wheel of the new bike in it, and go. Probably wouldn't do the new bike's trans any good but it's possible haha
