xj700 maxim forks on a xj650?

    Was wondering if I could put 700 forks on my 650. Need new forks anyway and figured I would get 700 forks so I could get the extra brake disc. Does anyone know if this is possible and how easy the swap is?

    I have a 1981 650 maxim, would the 85 700 swap easily? I see a lot on ebay.

    If you want dual discs, the direct swap is to swap the whole front from a 750 maxim
