For Sale XJ700NC Engine Parts

Well for those of you who followed it, I tore apart the original engine from my '86 XJ700NC (California!) until I finally realized that a replacement engine would be cheaper than a rebuild. So, now I have a spare engine, in pieces, ready for sale. I am willing to part it out, seriously anything inside or outside this engine, let me know what you want and I will part with it. I am moving and just don't want to bother packing it up. It goes to you XJ'rs before it goes on ebay. Considering the engine was filled with water and locked up, I never got it running but instead tore it completely apart right from the start.
No starter, ignition parts or carbs or intakes included in this, I had to swap them over to my replacement engine, so don't ask. Also, I had to cut the cam chain to pull the head, so it is gone, too.
So, a quick rundown...
Head - Completely pulled apart, no cams, no valves, no shims or buckets, just a naked head. Dirty but otherwise in good shape.
Head 2 - Good condition. Cams and valves come with it, all in good shape. No shims. No broken fins.
Cylinder Block - Rust in cylinders, would need new sleeves. Fins are straight and unbroken, missing a couple exhaust studs.
Cylinder block 2 - Good condition, bought this as a replacement for the original one, cylinders are clean, cannot vouch for their measurements.
Cases - good condition no cracks or breaks. One broken cylinder stud, all others removed clean.
Crank - cleaned and lightly oiled it when I got it out.
Pistons - Again, the engine was filled with water, so the pistons themselves are ok, but I wouldn't trust the rings. Small end bearings and pins come with.
Internals - Everything appears to be in good shape. This includes the transmission, middle gear, oil pump, primary chain & guide, cam chain guides (NO CAM CHAIN), clutch basket & plates, associated bearings and hardware. I will make a correction here, I do have the stator/generator for sale.
Side covers, valve cover, oil pan - Good shape, no gouges or deep scratches, just need to be cleaned and polished. Valve cover was chrome plated by the PO, and the chrome is flaking.

Essentially I am parting out an entire XJ700NC engine, make a reasonable offer and we'll talk. Again, no starter, ignition or carbs.

 

if I were you, I would keep that stator/generator as a spare.
