Another topic, I'll show you the test of ignition system.
The ECU can connect to a PC, it can change setting value and monitor a log (rpm, spark advance, injection time, etc.)

Yes, the XJ750D, the XJ700-X and XJ750-X, and the XJ750 Police models all used the 26A alternator (different rotor and stator versus the 19A versions used on all other models). The OEM part numbers are:

OEM STATOR with lead wire (26A)
    part #: 22N-81610-10-00
    Applications:
    XJ700- X
    XJ750-X
    XJ750P (24L)
    XJ750P (37H)

    OEM alternator ROTOR (26A)
    part #: 22N-81650-10-00
    depth/thickness: 52.00mm (about 4mm thicker than 19A version)
    Applications
    XJ700-X
    XJ750-X
    XJ750P (24L)
    XJ750P (37H)

If you have the Yamaha parts manual for your bike you can verify the part numbers, but, since the OEM parts number for these items begin with the 22N code, then that indicates that these parts were first used on 22N (XJ750D) models............I do not have the XJ750D listed as an application, because I do not have an original parts list for that bike (very rare), but the 22N part code gives that secret away!

    Thank you!
I measured a thickness of Rotor that removed from XJ750D motor. That was 52.3mm! I found it that this is 26A model.

Can't you refer a parts number on Yamaha site?

    https://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/parts-search/pc/
You can search a parts number this service. Japanese only, but you can use by check a fig.
Visit that site, and click large blue button at bottom of page.

This service also can use at smart phone application. Nice convenience, I love it.
    https://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/parts-search/sp/

I searched rotor and stater parts number of 22N by this service, and it confirmed that matched to what you said.

chacal, the parts list of 22N can get pretty easy about $10 in Japan. I'll send it for you if you want.

The only English-language sites that I can access do not list any items for 22N (XJ750D) models; they only list parts and models that were sold in that particular country. So the Yamaha parts website for USA only shows models (and thus parts) that were sold on USA model bikes, the Canadian Yamaha parts websites only shows items associated with Canada bikes, etc. For most models, it is not a big problem, because most countries that had these XJ-series bikes were English-speaking (USA, Canada, UK/Euroland, Australia/New Zealand (called "Oceania" in Yamaha-speak), and thus we can (easily) look up the unique parts for XJ models not offered in USA.

Not only that, but if there was a unique part (say, the decal set) for an XJ750D model, which of course was not available in USA, then a USA dealer cannot order that part from Yamaha!

It would be nice if the Yamaha.jp website had an English-language option.

Luckily, many parts for the XJ bikes of this era were used across models/markets. Since the 22N stator and rotor were used on USA model bikes (XJ700-X), then it was possible.....before those items were discontinued by Yamaha......to order and purchase them here in the USA.

That will be great, I assume it has the visual diagrams since my Japanese language/reading skills are non-existent!

    ""

Today I finished all the work and succeeded in starting the engine!
I was very impressed that the EFI system I made running.

I made a simple 2D map (increase or decrease the injection quantity only by intake pipe pressure) and succeeded in running. I've not done precise setting yet, but normal driving was possible. I was able to run about 5km from work shop to my home. No problem, I did it!

I appreciate for the people that rooting me.
I have a lot of small task for get more reliability, I'll post my progress here.

I am looking forward to hearing it idle once everything is all balanced and dial in. I was impressed with how it almost instantly fired up!

I made a new PCB. I installed a D-sub 9 pin connector (RS232C), it can be connected a PC directly.

    IMG_3010.JPG
The size of ECU is 85 x 57 mm.

    IMG_3015.JPG
I installed it at under the seat. Next to the ECU is Kawasaki's fuse box.

    IMG_3018.JPG
I installed a new fuel cock. This is a genuine parts of XJ900 (4KM-24500-20), because a stock cock has low flow rate.

    IMG_3019.JPG
    New cock is pretty compact.

I optimized ECU code and PC application.
Cold start is really difficult. When the engine is cold, the engine requires three times as much fuel as normal.

    Amazing.:)

Interesting that the instrument cluster is basically the same cluster as the non-turbo Xj 650r, and the non-digital xv920......

Also, Thank you for the xj750e parts list!

I am impressed with this and am tempted to give it a try. I did find a thread from the xj1100 forum where the guy has a full guide on using a microsquirt on his bike. http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11056
I might pick your brain for assistance when I do this.

Hog, Did you ever gather up the parts & pieces or were you just gathering the information for a later time if someone wanted it? I'm curious to see if anyone else has duplicated MR. Yu's efforts?

How has this fuel pump been working for you ? I to am attempting efi conversion with cbr1000 itbs and a speeduino ecu . I am in the same perdicament with the 19 amp stator and am trying to find a reasonably fuel pump.

    Hi charles,

    E8445 is fine.
19 amp generator is enough for drive this pump. But I don't recommend full time drive. I using this pump for PWM drive you know, when the required amount of fuel is small, I use it with a setting that low duty.
If you use it full time drive, probably 19A generator output is not enough when engine is idling.
