    Hi
I'm looking for any information on an aftermarket 'Performance Ignition' I have on my 1983/31a XJ900.

The company 'Electronic Research and Development' was in New Zealand and appears to be closed down.

    Thanks.

Thanks, I've already dug into this one, I was hoping I wasn't the only on with one.

Should probably have noted what I found for anyone else looking..;)

No response from them via their web site and tracing via the NZ company register I get
'TILO ELECTRONIC RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LIMITED'
    Company status - removed.

    So I assume it's a Zombie site.

Incorporate 2007 by YU, Zhou (sole shareholder) it was incorporated as ' TILO ELECTRICAL IMPORT LIMITED'
2008 name change to 'Electronic Research and Development'

So I assume the ignitor was made elsewhere, probably China?

    Haven't opened it up yet.

I am going to buy ignition from the above company. I used to see the Hyperpac units on E bay but l have not seen any for a while now.

Interestingly, this time I got a reply saying they are still trading.

My unit was bought in 2008 for a 1984 XJ900 advances a little earlier and runs about +2 degrees over the rev range.
